I couldn't help but smile (and laugh) while reading through the racist rhetoric of the undergraduates of the Jaffna university. Honestly, like their petty threats and ethnic hatred will have an effect on the South. They should concentrate on developing their university and OPENING IT UP to Sinhalese and Muslims who can feel safe and secure studying there.

Dear Jaffna undergraduates caught under a spell of racism and hatred, you guys keep "doing your thing" and we will all see how successful it is. Start by uniting the numerous numerous Tamil factions (you might have to follow in the footsteps of your masters the LTTE and kill, murder and assasinate all opposition but that won't be too difficult since you ethnically cleansed the Sinhalese from that university a while back).

Keep spouting your rhetoric, it will SURELY lead to peace. 20 years of fighting for this racial state called "Tamil Eelam" and the Sri Lankan Tamil community has been ripped to bits by it. Time to change tactics.

I'm not sure whether the Colombo Tamils, the Upcountry Tamils the Eastern Tamils will share your views though.

Is it just me or does most of this Tamil racism emanate from Jaffna? It has always been the case hasn't it.

Please guys, not all in Jaffna are racists and extremists.

That is only a certain misguided group, but sadly, that misguided minority makes the worst of the noises While the silent peaceful majority is kept silent!

TAMIL CHAUVINISM SHOULD BE DEFEATED

It is very amusing to read about the Bussdhist Sinhala chauvinism that was declared undergrads who are blind folded by the false histroy inculcated and falsified by Tamil terrorists. Home truth is that the real root cause for the Tamil problmes is Tamil Vellala cahuvinism influenced by political asprirations of handful of extremist Tamils.

Excerpt from the declaration saya "Tamils are denied their rights regarding lands ..... " instead  most suitable "all other communities except Tamils are denied ". The subtle Thesawalame rule barred all other communities buying lands in North while Tamils enjoy buying lands everywhere in the island without any obstruction or objection of Sinhalese. My dear undergard, please visit to Colombo city and evident yourself that the majority of shops are owned by tamils and unmoved Sinhala customers indiscriminately do transactions.

While he says that "oppose chauvinism undermining sentiments of other nations". Why didn't elucidate the destruction of Buddihist historitcal monuments in the North and East those prove that Tamil extremists' intention is to root out all evidences of the excisted Buddhist Sinhala culture. If they oppose to undermine sentiments of other nations all ancient ruins should be renovated, protected and keep safe for the future generation.

Domination of LTTE terrorism is the prominent obstacle to provide relief for displaced tusnami visctims but not the Sinhala chauvinism. The iron hand of a ditator murderer is behind the kiling of moderate Tamil leaders who opposed to opression provides enogh evidences for the power sruggle among Tamils.

Tamil domination over majority Sinhalese under colonialists was corrected by post-independence government. That was exggerated by tamil opportunistic politicians to bring the prosperous island to a quagmire. All burning questions prevailing among Tamil yourhs are common to Sinhalese too. But the truth is undermined and keep secretively by LTTE terrorists to gain the upperhand. This is the solid grounds that should be realized by all tamils.

Hi Brother when did you serve in Jaffna last?  Truth survives thats why Ceylon goverment despite all threatenings, splits.. was forced to sign this " less power than Pradesha Shaba" mechanism . Kadirgamar didnt do his homework this time properly to convince international community against LTTE. Also international community knows who are those 'curse' elements

What guts SL government and it forces have to eleminate this cruel master? Only shoutings slogans in Colombo will not
bring any fruitful solutions. Should realise the cause, facts then try to win over them or else you have to write like a lost, long journey passenger for ever... All you can do is cursing LTTE over and over. I dont think it is going to bring peace to
this nation. Always it is rather difficult to chew the fact enemy winning.. How can we stop it? Think about that.
What sort of body work to be done on your side..Find the answer ...get on with it...Cursing them here is literally useless.
